I am so sad to hear of Carol’s passing. She was my 4th and 5th grade teacher and we kept in touch by postcards until I went to college! We reconnected on Facebook and I am glad. She was sooo special-her laugh would light up a room. My deepest sympathy.

I won’t be able to think about my college days without thinking about Carol and her loyal presence. I hope these photos capture some of the best days of our lives. She will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Carol has been a tremendous supporter of Capital District Young Life for over thirty years. She always had words of encouragement for the organization and for my family when I'd see her at JUMC or BHBL events or just around town. She will be missed. Praying for comfort in the memories you hold.

Carol's passion for education was also evident in her work with the Teachers Association. Carol's sharp mind and sharp wit were a breath of fresh air at Representative Council meetings. She always brought a smile to my face.

Carol was one of the first to welcome me to the DiLallo family, not only was she my sister-in-law, she also was my GOOD FRIEND, there was no boundary between us, and nothing we could not talk about, we loved her visits to Maryland, and always remember to bring me gallons of my favorite maple syrup. I will always love and miss her and our special memories together.
Sister-In-Law forever

One afternoon last summer I was struggling to carry in a big bunch of veggies I had picked from the church garden. Carol was leaving church. She jumped right in and helped me carry everything. That is just exactly the lovely person she was. She will be so missed.

So sorry for your loss. Carol and Gary were instrumental in the Jonesville UMC Family. It has been a blessing that is truly mutual. After joining the choir, Lory noticed one member (Carol) busy with paperwork. She soon discovered Carol was her son's former teacher. This discovery along with Gary singing with Ed in the bass section was just the beginning of a long and lasting friendship. We were blessed and we're sure so were you.
Love,
Ed n Lory Bennett

There is so much I could say, but you know none of it will truly mean anything, except what you already know. Carol was a beautiful soul. My last real memory of her is her taking my mother's place at my back as Gigi was being confirmed. True goodness on earth.
