Please share a memory of Joseph to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Joseph Albert “Joe” Gaspary Jr., 67, of Eastland Park in Rensselaer, New York, amazing husband to Ginger Gaspary for 45 years went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2025, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on February 23, 1958, in East Greenbush, New York, beloved son of the late Joseph A. Gaspary Sr. and the late Anna A. Gaspary (Yavonditte). Joseph had retired from NYS Comptroller’s Office.

Joe spent his life rooted in the values and community of his home state.  His unwavering faith and devotion to Christ were the guiding forces of his life. He was a graduate of Berean Bible College and was a lay pastor filling the pulpit in numerous Baptist churches. Joe not only preached the teachings of Jesus but lived them daily with humility, compassion, and grace.

Joe was married at First Baptist Church 45 years ago to his beloved wife, Ginger Gaspary. Their union was a testament to enduring love and shared spiritual purpose. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others. He was a devoted father of Joseph III (Larysa) of Guilderland and James (Elizabeth) of Eastland Park. Cherished grandfather of Joseph IV and Abigail.

Those who knew Joe remember him as an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and a genuine friend to anyone in need. He was known for his honesty, thoughtfulness, and selflessness. Never one to speak harshly or act outside the spirit of Christ, Joe led by quiet example—offering kindness without condition and guidance without judgment.

His dedication to leading others toward the Lord left a lasting impact on countless lives. Whether through his ministry or everyday interactions, Joe’s presence brought comfort and strength. His closeness with Christ was evident in every word he spoke and every action he took.

A funeral service celebrating Joe’s life will be held at First Baptist Church in Rensselaer on April 16, 2025. Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm and services from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm.
