Obituary of Georgianna Badger

GEORGIANNA M. BADGER

April 11, our beloved Georgianna M. Badger “Anna” or “Anna Banana” to most, passed into the Kingdom of God.

Anna leaves behind her mother Elizabeth Castro, grandmother Shayne Markus, her brother Eric Castro, sister Jennifer Castro, her three beautiful children, Julian, Annabella, and the late Ja'nessalee. She also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles, tons of beloved cousins and many friends.

Georgianna was a young beautiful woman whose life and story touched many in her 35 years of life. Georgianna was funny, smart, brave, and helped anyone in need. She encouraged her friends and loved ones to be the best they could be, always reminding them of the importance of never giving up. Anna was a symbol of bravery, hope, and what it’s like to never give up no matter the challenges ahead. Georgianna was taken home to God and to be with her angel Ja'nessalee too soon and as such our lives are all a little less bright. We will miss her fierce personality, her expressions she made when hearing a corny joke, and the way she made us feel with every kiss, every hug, and every smile! Forever in our hearts, we love you and will miss you Georgianna - you will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to Georgianna’s Funeral Services on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.

Please join us for Georgianna’s Celebration of Life after her funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, which will be held at her Aunt Christine's house at 8 North Main St., Voorheesville, NY 12186.
