Barbara A. Brockway, 85, of Lansingburgh, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Brockway, entered into eternal life in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Born in Cohoes, NY, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace Marcil Granger and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School in Cohoes, Catholic Central High School “CCHS” in Troy and he Troy School of Beauty and Culture.

Mrs. Brockway, affectionately known to many as “Barb” owned and operated North End Beauty Salon and Ceramics in Lansingburgh.

She had been a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.

Beloved mother of Eric Zimmer, Bernedette “Missy” (Tom) Amash, Keith Brockway and the late Kevin Brockway, cherished grandmother of Alexis (Garin) Cohen and Nicholas (fiancé, Kennedy Cowles) Amash, loving sister of Jane (late, Col. Bernard, Ret. U.S. Army) Manderville, Dorothy (late, Gary) Bristol, Kenneth (Donna) Granger, William (Jane) Granger and the late George (late, Frances) Granger, also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 and to her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Lansingburgh.

Interment will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Waterford.
