Born in Yonkers, New York on September 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Gotthilf William and Pauline Faigle. She graduated from Commerce High School in 1948. She married Falco (Bud) Delmerico in 1951 and resided in Dobbs Ferry, NY for over 50 years, where she was an active parishioner with Sacred Heart Church. After moving to Clifton Park, NY, she became a parish member of St. Edward the Confessor Church and gave back to the community by volunteering at the Shenendehowa Adult Community Center. She took great pride in co-chairing the annual fashion show for four years and served on all fashion show committees. She was an active member of the Jonesville Fire Department Auxiliary for ten years. Fay also enjoyed the friendship of the wonderful ladies of the Red Hat Society.

Fay took great pride in her family, was a wonderful and loving Mother and wife who enjoyed line dancing, Zumba, yoga, gardening, entertaining, reading, and most of all, traveling the world with her devoted husband. She cared deeply for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Her selfless devotion to family and friends touched many during her life.
