Paul Obernesser, 69, of Clifton Park, peacefully passed away at home embraced by the loving care of his family on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Paul joins his parents Albert and M.Eileen Obernesser and his son Sean Casey Obernesser, who passed away before him. 

Paul leaves his wife Lou Ann (Remmell) Obernesser and his daughter Alexis Obernesser, loving brother of William (Lorraine) Obernesser, Albert (Donna) Obernesser, James Obernesser, Robert (Susan) Obernesser, Eileen (John) Jungbluth, Karen (Len) LaScala, Michael (Sharon) Obernesser, John Obernesser, the late Peter (Jane) Obernesser, the late Charles Obernesser and the late Jean Theresa Obernesser.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral home 1550 RT-9 Clifton Park, NY 12065 on Thursday, October 16,2025 for Calling Hours from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and to the Funeral Service which will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Those desiring, may make memorial contributions to Community Hospice, 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or to New Vocations (www.horseadoption.com) - a racehorse adoption program in which Paul was very active, in celebration of Paul.
