Obituary of Barbara A. Bussing
Barbara Ann “Barbie” Pratt Bussing, 62, of Pleasantdale (Town of Schaghticoke) beloved wife for 46 years to the late, Darryl E. Bussing, Sr., peacefully entered into eternal life surround by and in the loving care of her family at home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Born and educated in Troy, New York, Barbara was the daughter of the late Bruce Pratt and the late Nancy Becker Pratt Kent.
Mrs. Bussing was a dedicated and loving homemaker. She loved nothing more than caring for her family and was the glue that kept her entire family together.
She loved BINGO, her coffee, watching game shows and most of all her family.
Devoted mother of Darryl E. Bussing, Jr., Timothy (Jennifer) Bussing, Nancy (late, Eric) Peterson, Kelly Bussing, Maygen Bussing, Anthony Bussing, the late Bruce Bussing and the late George Bussing, dear sister of Elizabeth “Betty” Morelli and the late John Becker, also survived by 19 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Darryl E. Bussing, Sr. in 2024 and three cherished grandchildren in 2025.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, NY 12182, where at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Paul Carney from St. John’s Episcopal Church in Troy will offer the Funeral Service.
