I lived with Denise at Fontbonne Manor. Until she needed to stay in her apartment most of the time, she was like our town crier, sitting in the community room, reporting on everyone's comings and goings, and so helping to make us a community.
I ached for her suffering and now I ache for your loss. I hope that with the passing of time you will be comforted knowing she is now beyond pain, fear and anxiety, and at last safe, at peace, and joyful in the loving arms of God.
She leaves here at Fontbonne Manor people who cared about her and are grateful for the opportunity to have known her. Rest in peace, dear Denise.
