Ann Marie (Brady) Barringer, 86, of Halfmoon, beloved wife to the late Charles L. Barringer, Jr., “Saratoga Charlie”, peacefully entered into eternal life surrounded by and in the loving care of her family Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Hortense Nash Brady and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy.

Prior to devoting time to raise her family, Ann worked for the NY telephone company. After starting her family with Charlie, Ann dedicated her life to her adoring husband and raising their seven children.

Ann loved spending time with her family, going to her children and grandchildren’s games, school events and celebrations. She was an avid Danielle Steel reader, loved gardening and bird watching. Ann was well known for her selflessness, always putting others first. She was someone you could always confide in, knowing you would always be met with an open heart, genuine understanding and unwavering love. She joined her husband in his love of horses and the Saratoga Race Track, especially opening day. Ann was the strength and true happiness behind the legendary Saratoga Charlie.

She was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.

Ann is reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Charles L. Barringer. She is the devoted mother to Charles (Ronna) Barringer, Cheryl Barringer, Susan (Michael) Cox, Karen (Michael) Orchanian, Anthony (Dawn) Barringer, Michelle (Robert) Miller Jr.  and Lynn (Jason) Connors, cherished “Best Grammy” to Ashleigh (James) DeVoe, Michael (Caitlin) Cox, Lee, Alyssa, Shane, Briann, Samantha and JB Barringer, Nicholas, Matthew and Kate Orchanian,  Reilly, Brady and Anna Miller and Trevor, Ryan, Lauren and Owen Connors, adored Great Grandmother to Aubrie and Kellan DeVoe and Lennox and Beckett Cox, sister of the late Thomas J.(late, Judy Lesson) Brady, Jr., late, Ruth B.
