My condolences. My mother was his cousin Erma Lucille LaFayette, born in Glens Falls in 1924 and later moved to Herkimer. She passed away in 2014. They probably knew each other while my mother was growing up in Glens Falls. My Grandmother Lucy (Ide) LaFayette was Almer Byron Baker Sr.'s older sister.
