Obituary of Carol M. St. Laurent

Carol M. St. Laurent, 54, of Middletown Rd. died on Thursday Sept. 3, 2020 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. She was born in Schenectady on Jan. 18, 1966 and was the daughter of the late Richard and Marion Chruscienski Orleanski. She was a graduate the former Linton High School in Schenectady and had been a cook for several area restaurants. She enjoyed music and wrote poetry. Carol was most happy when having family and friend cookouts and being known as the "grill master". Carol was the beloved wife of the late Mark St. Laurent who died in 2008; devoted mother of Bonnie Marie St. Laurent and Sophie Renee St. Laurent both of Cohoes, NY; dear sister of Karen (Scott) Ladd and Linda Dalheim both of Waterford, NY; cherished grandmother of Penelope Sherman of Clifton Park; also survived by several nieces, nephews and her beloved "Samantha Jean" Calling hours will be from 10-2 pm Saturday Sept. 26, 2020 in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065. Due to Covid-19, facial covering and social distancing will be adhered to. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue Menands, NY 12204 or to the Schenectady Animal Shelter Rexford, NY 12148
