Sr. Mary Alice accepted me into the doctoral program in liturgical music at The Catholic University of America. She guided my progress and offered advice as I advanced through the coursework and other requirements for the degree. May the angels lead you into paradise, my friend.

Sr Mary Alice fought to get me a full scholarship to study liturgical music at CUA and, while I ended up moving into liturgical studies, none of it would have been possible without her. My first publication came from a paper I wrote for her class “The Integration of Music into Liturgical Celebration.” I’m now teaching liturgy at Australian Catholic University. ...a radiantly beautiful and caring human being. May she rest and rejoice.
