Herman Mays, 62, of Troy, husband of Andrea Lanier Mays, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of Celestine Camron.
Herman was a Bus Monitor for Star & Strand Bus Company.
Beloved husband of Andrea Lanier Mays; cherished father of Andre Herman Mays of Troy, Jared Davis of Troy, Janel Mays of Brooklyn, Latheia Mays of Greensboro, NC, and Maya Jasmine Mays of Troy; brother of Abdullah Karim Muqarrabin of Pennsylvania, Janet Jackson of Maryland and the late Paul Mays; grandfather of Lanay Diamond McNeill. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Going home service will be held at 8 pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. (Corner of Fourth Avenue and 115th Street, Lansingburgh).
