Mary F. Schrell, 66, of Troy, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Samaritan Hospital. 

 

Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Eva Felt Malesky and was a graduate of Troy High School.

 

Mary had been a dedicated caregiver with Adept Healthcare in Troy.

 

She enjoyed Bingo, her pet bird, was an avid QVC shopper and truly enjoyed the friendships and camaraderie with her friends at the Burns Apartments and the good times they shared at their community center.

 

Survivors include her nieces Bettina Hoag and Cynthia Hoag, nephew Doug Garso, great nieces and great nephews; McKenna Christian, Nathan and Kenneth Blanchard, Kiera Ahrent and Ahlyra Clark. She was predeceased by her sister; Diane Malesky Hoag Garso.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m. where at 1:00 p.m. a Prayer Service and Reflections will be offered both in the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Avenue (Corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182.

 

All attendees must wear a facial covering, observe social distancing and understand that there are capacity limits which must be adhered too.
