Obituary of Marjorie Susan Sherman Schwarzer

Marjorie Susan Sherman Schwarzer, 90, of  Coburg Village died on Sunday Jan. 31, 2021 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness.  She was born Camgaw, NJ on Dec. 16, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Marjorie Harvey Campbell.  Marge was the beloved wife of the late Ernest G. Sherman who died in 1991 and Edward Schwarzer who died in 2009.  She was a house wife and homemaker.  Very active with the Jonesville United Methodist, Marge enjoyed the knitting group, crocheting,  adult coloring and completing jig saw puzzles.  Her most happy moments were spent when she was with her family.

 

She is the devoted mother of Ann J. (David) Graham of AZ, James A. (Carol) Sherman of Halfmoon and Danny (Lorna) Sherman of CA; stepmother of Nancy (Bruce) Jerome of Vischer Ferry and Kathy (Michael) Whitehead of NJ; sister of Charlotte Bruhn of CO, Richard Campbell of NC and the late Lillian Edel, Jessie Quigley and David Campbell; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, funeral services will be private.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.

Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.
