Obituary of Catherine Pertain

Catherine Collins Pertain, 88 formerly of Clifton Park died on Friday April 30, 2021  at the Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation after a long illness.  She was born on March 7, 1933 in Manhattan and was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Costello Collins.  She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Pertain who died on Nov. 21, 2005.  Catherine had been a Customer Rep for Dime Savings Bank  in Albany for a number of years.

She is the devoted mother of Suzanne (Robert) Engvold, Catherine Robertson and Carol (Richard) D'Elisiis; cherished grandmother of Kristen, Sean, Caitlyn and Connor; great grandmother of Sydney and Ryan.

Funeral service will be private on Tuesday from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065.

There will be no public calling hours.

Interment will be in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery with her husband.
