Obituary of Barbara A. Lambertsen

Barbara A. Collins Lambertsen, 87, of Lansingburgh, beloved wife of over 67 years of Rev. Christian J. Lambertsen of Lansingburgh, entered into eternal life of on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Marjorie E. Anker Collins and was a graduate of Watervliet High School, Class of 1951.

Mrs. Lambertsen raised her children and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Korean War Veteran's Ladies Auxiliary, the Brunswick Baptist Church and enjoyed ceramics as well as making and designing custom bird houses.

Beloved wife of Rev. Christian J. Lambertsen of Lansingburgh; devoted mother of Sharon (Gary) O'Brien of Jordanville, William (Marlene) Lambertsen of Troy, Peter (Robin) Lambertsen of Selkirk and the late Carol Lynn Kot-Booth (late, Donald) and the late Christian J. Lambertsen, Jr., also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great granddaughters, a daughter-in-law; Laurie Lambertsen and  several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by one granddaughter.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc. 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh), Troy, New York 12182.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M.

Interment will be held in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.

Facial coverings, social distancing and capacity limits must be adhered to.
