I just heard of Linda's passing and I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Linda's parents, Joan and Dave Quinones, were very special to us as we spent many evenings when we were younger partying with them and our parents in our rumpus room. They were always the life of our parents' parties! Linda was my second cousin and the same age as me. My sister, Bernadette, and I went to Troy High School together with Linda. She was very beautiful and very popular, but we never hung out together. Still, we were proud to be her cousins. We have not seen each other since then, but we morn her passing and send love and condolences to her siblings and her children. I'm sure we will see her again in a better place. God bless all of you. Love, Jeanette Donnelly Kavanaugh

I loved my time working with Linda at Troy high she had a heart of gold and made me laugh everyday of my life there. We were actually alot alike. One day she wore shoes that didnt match ...but they were pretty close. One day it was raining really hard and she couldnt find her keys. We searches hi and low. About a month later she opened her umbrella and woolaa. There were the keys. She brought joy and laughter and i am sad. Until we meet again my sweet friend. Love you♡♡

I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was not only the sister of one of my oldest and closest friends, Stephen, but she was also my Art teacher at School 18. I will always remember her creativity, sense of humor, and kindness. Wishing peace to the Quinones family. May her memory always be a blessing for you.

I was a student of Mrs. Connell’s and graduated from THS in 2001. She was a wonderful human who went above beyond. It was through her where I was able to express my artistic side and she was the one who ignited my faith. I sincerely believe God aligned us and so thankful for her encouragement, talent, and generosity. It’s been 19 years since I graduated high school and throughout those years, I’ve thought of her often. I’m sad to hear of her passing but know that the Lord will be with her.
God bless and thoughts and many prayers to her loved ones.
