Ella Drewe McGill “Poodle”

Born to the proud parents James and Isabell Drew (both deceased) on June 13, 1954 in Spotsylvania VA, attended school in Amelia County, VA, and retired as a Registered Nurse after 43 years from the Stratton Veteran’s Medical Center Hospital in Albany NY, passed away July 3, 2021.

She is survived by her son Marcus D. and Pattie Sheldon McGill.

(3) Grandchildren Bella McGill, Mikey Robinson and Kyleah Burton.

(4) Siblings, Sarah and Tommy (deceased) Pryor of Albany NY, Bessie and James Sims of Middletown NY, Charles Drew and Terri Prescott (deceased) of Albany NY, and Glennis Drewe Young and Allen Young of Albany, NY. She also leaves behind her devoted friend, Curtis Alexander as well as many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to her care takers Star King, Natasha Drewe, Pattie Sheldon, Sarah Pryor and Marcus D. McGill.

Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home on Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday until 12 Noon. 

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue, Troy, New York 12182. Please express your on-line Condolences using the tab on this website.
