Barbara A. Galati, 88, of Clifton Park died on Sunday Sept. 5, 2021 at her home in the loving care of her family.  She was born on Dec. 29, 1932 in Hogansburg, NY and was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Quinn Lantry.  Barbara was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh where she received her bachelors in nursing.    She had worked for the Newburgh Free Academy school district in Newburgh, NY as a school nurse for over 25 years.  She was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park.

 

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward John Galati whom she married on July 14, 1956.

She is the devoted mother of James (Kelli) Galati, DDS, Michael (Ruth) Galati, Philip (Michelle) Galati, Edward (Caroline) Galati, Mary Jo (Roy) Bodnar and Patricia Galati; sister in law of Philip (Marguerite) Galati and the late Genevieve(Jim) Kenny; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Friday Sept. 17, 2021 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd. Clifton Park, NY 12065.

The will be no calling hours.

Interment will be in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
