I knew Ernie over fifty years. He obviously was a man of great intelligence and talent. More important, he carried himself well through the challenges he faced. He was a man to be emulated as well as admired. I will miss him.

Worked for and with Ernie for many years at KAPL and and as part of the BEES endeavor. He had endless energy and challenged his coworkers to keep up. He taught by example and always lived by high standards and carried the principles of the Naval Reactors program. Golfed together often, perhaps not his sphere of greatest excellence. Feel fortunate to have know Ernie.

I worked with Ernie many years at KAPL. He was a great boss. Very kind, considerate of others and always willing to work with you. He had his way of doing things and was very different from other bosses I had worked for. I remember his smile and always rushing to a meeting. Your family was very blessed. May Ernie Rest In Peace and be remembered always.
