JEROME YORK

Jerome York passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023.  He was the son of Mary Bennett York and Johnny York

Jerome was a graduate of Troy High School.  He worked as a Pallet Builder in Menands, New York and as a laborer at Cargo Recycling before becoming disabled.  Jerome’s hobbies included putting together model cars as well as fishing.

In addition to him mother, Jerome is survived by three brothers: Nathaniel York and John York of Troy and Eddie (Pauline) York of Greeleyville, SC; two aunts: Thelma York of Greeleyville, SC and Earline York of Myrtle Beach, SC; three nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, Inc., 565 Fourth Avenue (at the corner of 115^th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182 on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 for Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to Noon and to the Home Going Service which will begin at 121 Noon.

Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
