TROY, NY - Frank W. Watts, 75, passed away on February 11, 2024 at his daughter’s home in Belchertown, MA.

He was predeceased by his wife, Karen (Gannon) Watts in September, 2023.

In 1968, Frank joined the U.S Army, Company E, 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division, earning the Purple Heart, and Army Commendation Medal for Heroism for his service in the Vietnam War.

Frank was employed at Norton Co./Saint Gobain in Watervliet, NY from the 1970’s to retirement in the 2000’s.

In 1978, he happily married Karen T. Watts, they shared 45 loving years together. During his life, he greatly enjoyed the love of his family and friends. He loved America, and history; a true patriot with traditional values.

He was a fan of the New York Giants, especially the 1990 Super Bowl XXV Championship team. A big Yankee fan, he rarely missed a game and his favorite player, of all time, was Don Mattingly. He also took joy in gaming, playing every Assassin‘s Creed game, Black Flag being his top pick. Every day, Frank was fond a good cup of coffee and a good conversation.

Besides his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by his sisters, Barbara A. Strubel (Peter), Mary F. Strubel (Robert), and Esther Plew.
