Obituary of Mae C. Chrisikos

Mae C. Chrisikos, 68, of Petersburgh (Town of Hoosick), passed away after suddenly taking ill on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital in Albany.

Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward Ray and Mae Rita Bellrose Ray and was the beloved wife of the late Gerald “Jerry” Chrisikos and the late Richard “Rick” Glusko. She was educated in Troy and was a graduate of Troy High School.

Mae loved game nights with her grandchildren and spending time with her family. Mae also enjoyed spending time at McConchies Campground and the life long friends that she made there.

Devoted mother of Angelina (Michael Malo) Graham, Peter (Tiphany) Chrisikos, Jamie (Harry Woods) Chrisikos and Geri (Cory Iverson) Chrisikos, sister of Mary Ann Fountain, Marie Zervais, Mildred Bressette, Theresa Ray and Edward Ray, Jr., also survived by 3 grandchildren;  Krysi Graham, Christopher Mahoney and Alexander Chrisikos and 2 great grandchildren; Natalie and Owen.

Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and to a time of shared Reflections at 11:00 a.m. at the Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel in Oakwood Cemetery, 186 Oakwood Ave, Troy, NY 12182.

Mae’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Jamie and Sheila Springer for their continued friendship and Leroy Thomas III for bringing joy into her life.
