With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Davinder K. Wadhwa on August 17, 2024, at the age of 95. Davinder was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Born on November 13, Davinder led a life defined by resilience, grace, and devotion to her family. As a mother to Gurinder, Jyoti and Alka, she nurtured her children with endless care and guided them with strength and compassion. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren,

Amar, Priya, and Kaiya, who brought her immense joy and pride.  Davinder's legacy is one of love, family, and a deep sense of community. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her fighting spirit, and the countless ways she made the world brighter for those around her.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Though she is no longer with us, her love and wisdom will continue to guide us all.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20th, from 2-4pm at Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home (1550 US-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065), followed by a private cremation for the family.  A service will be held at the Gurdwara - Sikh Association of Capitol District (301 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144) from 6-8pm to honor her life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
