Margery H. Rogers, 91, of Troy, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

 

Born in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Elsie Peterson Rogers and attended school at the George Washington School on Memesha Lane, Brunswick, NY

 

Margery worked at several farms throughout Greenwich, and Schaghticoke, NY.

 

She enjoyed working around all kinds of livestock and horses. Her hobbies and interests included anything to do with farming and Arabian horses. Marge grew up on her father’s dairy farm in Brunswick and would always be at all the local horse and livestock auctions.  

 

Sister of Shirley (David) Lossee, the late Nancy Rogers, the late Howard Rogers, and the late Joann Rogers; Aunt of Linda Arnold, Charlie (Lucy) Arnold and Scott (Denise) Lossee; Great Aunt of Brittney (Greg Anderson) Smania, Christopher Arnold and Michael (Kelly) Arnold, also survived by 4 great-great nephews and 2 great-great nieces.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Elmwood Hill Cemetery,

51 Belle Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.

 

Her family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to Hope and staff that the Elliot of Troy for always being there for Marge.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Morris-Stebbins-Miner & Sanvidge Funeral Home, 312 Hoosick Street, Troy, NY 12182.
