William "Bill" L. Bradshaw, age 69, passed away, Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 in his residence under the care of Southern Care Hospice.

Bill was born in Troy, NY, where he lived most of his life and had lived in Brooklet, Georgia for the past 6 months. He was the son of the late Donald and Marion Harris Bradshaw. Bill graduated from St. Mary's School in Albany, NY and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. After graduating high school, Bill joined the United States Navy serving in the Mediterranean Sea from 1965 to 1969. He retired from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, after 36 ½ years of service, where he was a Boiler Engineer. Bill was an avid fisherman, enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and family.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Bradshaw.

Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susan Skaarup Bradshaw of Brooklet, GA and formerly of Lansingburgh; son, William Bradshaw of Brooklet, GA; daughter, Tricia Powers and her husband, Thomas of Brunswick, NY; brothers, Jackie Bradshaw and Michael Bradshaw both of Schenectady, NY; sisters, Linda Gerighty of Troy, NY and Patty Sluus of East Nassau, NY; three grandchildren, Nicholas Pucci, Isabel Pucci and Katherine Powers.

A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 to 6:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Veterans Lansingburgh, 777 First Avenue Troy, NY 12182.
