Obituary of Julia L. White

Julia L. White, 18, passed away unexpectedly on Monday April 16, 2018. Born in Troy she is the daughter of Jeffrey and Jill White.

Julia was a 2017 graduate of Lansingburgh High School, where she excelled as a clarinet player in the Lansingburgh Band as well as Drama Club. She also played clarinet in the Capital District Marching Band and the University at Albany. Julia was currently a freshman at The College of St. Rose, where she was recently accepted to the music program, and was studying to be a Music Teacher. She was a lover of animals, an avid Harry Potter fan and was a member of the "Geeks of the Round Table" on campus as well as the LGBTQ organization.

In addition to her parents, Julia is survived by her grandmother, Sandra Wallace; her sister, Alyssa White; and her brothers, Matthew and Hunter White. She is also survived by many aunt, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Julia was predeceased by her sister, Meagan White; her maternal grandfather, Edmund Wallace; and her paternal grandparents, Donald and Ruth White.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Julia on Friday April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, 55 N. Lake Ave. Troy. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Ave, (at the corner of 115th Street in Lansingburgh) Troy, NY 12182.
