Obituary of Cynthia S. Marshall

Cynthia S. Marshall, 56, of Troy, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital.

Born in San Diego, CA, and was the daughter of Steve and Shirley DeWitt.

Cynthia was a unique and very funny woman who knew how to do everything and was an expert in Scrabble. She loved and enjoyed her family and looked forward going to the Eddy Memorial Day Program.

Cynthia was the beloved mother of Tony Marshall, Gregory (Ja'Kara) DeWitt, III and Jamel DeWitt who are survived by their father and lifelong companion, Gregory Dewitt, Sr.; devoted sister of Demitrius DeWitt, Stephanie Dewitt, Victoria Loika, Sylvia Poole, Debra DeWitt, Ella DeWitt and the late Karen and Stephen DeWitt; cherished grandmother of Tony Marshall, Jr., Taliya Marshall, Lyrik Marshall, Jaionna DeWitt, Jada DeWitt, Jamel DeWitt, Jr. and the late Gregory DeWitt IIII. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Cynthia's family will be holding a memorial service at a later date and asks for their relatives and friends to contact them for the service information.
