Obituary of Glenn E. Heider

Glenn Heider, 80, of Clifton Park, passed away on January 15, 2019.  He attended Mont-Pleasant High School, and Albany College with a degree in Accounting.  He worked for General Electric at Knolls Atomic Power Lab in West Milton, NY. He retired after 36 years of service in January 1996 from KAPL/Bechtel, as the Procurement Supervisor of inventory control for the Nuclear Naval Training Program.   His volunteer work consisted of Ushering at Proctors for over 20 years along with coaching and managing the Little League baseball team in Clifton Park and Schenectady.  He had a great love of all sports both at the high school and profession levels and loved the Saratoga Racing Season. 

Glenn was a US Army Veteran.

He is predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Linda.  He is survived by his daughter, Lori Reisner (Jamie Foy) of Clifton Park, Son, Ken Heider (Eileen) of Randolf, NJ. Grandchildren Tyler Reisner (Katie) of Versailles, KY. Jessica and Kayla Heider of Randolf, NJ, and great grandchild, Chelsea Reisner. Remembrances’ may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
