Obituary of Ulysses DeLee, Jr.

Ulysses DeLee, Jr. was born October 3, 1957, to Ulysees DeLee and the late Louise N. DeLee in Syracuse, New York. Ulysses DeLee, Jr., resided in Troy, New York. He transitioned on July 1, 2019, in Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. 

He received his education in various public schools in Nedrow, New York. He loved playing basketball, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed doing body work in his father’s shop. He was joined in holy matrimony to Shelia Ross DeLee. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise DeLee, one brother, Anthony DeLee and one grandson, Alijah Branch. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Shelia Ross DeLee of Summerville, South Carolina; one daughter, Makeyvia Delee of Dorchester, South Carolina; his father, Ulysees DeLee of Dorchester, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Khiyah and Nylah Branch of Dorchester, South Carolina; a special friend, Kristis Roser; two sisters, Marva Delee Rhames of Syracuse, New York and Kimberly Delee of Dorchester, South Carolina; one niece, Lavonya Rhames (Joshua) Marshell; two nephews, Lavar DeLee and Maurice Rhames; a host of aunts, uncles, grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial Service was held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Brown and Son Funeral Home, 5901 W. Jim Bilton Blvd., 
Saint George, South Carolina 29477.
