Dearest Maria and Family,

My heart goes out to you during this difficult period. Having lost my own father 3 years ago I empathize completely with your loss. I remember your dad as a very kind, calm, and loving father - one who watched you dance and grow with such tremendous pride and amazement; feelings that, as you and I are both discovering, we can only now fully appreciate as parents ourselves. I also have fond (and very funny!) memories of both of our fathers fumbling their way through "Pas de Dad" class (and can share a digital video file of that if you would like it)...

The love of a father is never-ending, my friend. I wish you serenity and strength during these first challenging moments of grief, and later nothing but joy and gratitude for his life. We are lucky girls to have been loved so well since day one.

All of my deepest condolences to your mother, as well. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

From softball games to cheerleading events,Jack was always present for his childrens activities!!

If I saw him at a football game, there was no one I would rather sit and chat with!!He was a honest, smart,hard working Man with a heart of gold!
